引领我走进砂石计时赛的，是全日本冠军的叔父。我本来就热爱WRC和拉力赛，一直梦想着有朝一日能在砾石路上奔驰，叔父的邀请让我第一次踏上了砂石赛道。那一天的感觉——恐惧与兴奋同时涌来的那个瞬间，成了我今天一切的出发点。
我在搬到北海道之后才开始认真投入砂石赛。此前我也参加过铺装路面的绕桩赛，但第一次站在泥土上的感觉截然不同。当我的身体理解到抓地力不是”给予”的，而是需要”寻找”的那一刻，我领悟到了这项运动的深度。
