The 2026 ERC season runs to six rounds, opening in May at the Latvia Rally and closing in September at Lousada, Portugal. The dominant machinery is FIA Rally2 — successor to the R5 class — with three-way competition between the Skoda Fabia RS Rally2, Hyundai i20N Rally2, and Ford Puma Rally2 forming the core of the championship battles.
