Sébastien Ogier drove his Toyota GR Yaris Rally1 to victory at the EKO Acropolis Rally, held June 25–28 in Loutraki, Greece. It was WRC career win number 69 and his first Acropolis victory since 2011 — a 15-year wait. A tense battle with title rival Thierry Neuville was ultimately decided by a double puncture that cost the Belgian 53.5 seconds.
The Acropolis Rally is one of the WRC's most punishing events, defined by its rough Greek gravel and sharp rocks that scatter the stages and shred tyres without warning. This year's edition was characterised by exceptional heat, with radiator blockages and brake fade affecting multiple crews.
