The ARC championship implications of Patel's Round 2 win are clear: his lead over second-placed Vohra is estimated at more than 65 points after two rounds, meaning a rival would need to win every remaining round while Patel retired from all of them to have a realistic chance of overturning the deficit. That said, the ARC runs only four or five rounds per season — compact enough that a single retirement for Patel could change everything. Caution is appropriate before declaring the championship over.

East African rally infrastructure, invisible to most international observers, is developing steadily.
