Why Motorsport

Car culture has been part of my whole life, and for as long as I can remember I have wanted to be a professional driver. The real passion for motorsport and driving began when I was seven or eight, thanks to the video game Gran Turismo. About a year later, in my first karting session, I knew for certain that this was what I wanted to dedicate my life to. It's the feeling of driving: that moment when everything fades and it's just you and the car. That sense of being in contact with the car, when you feel it start to "drive itself". Only motorsport has ever given me that, and it is the main reason for this passion.

Goals & Vision

My objective is to show that an ordinary sim racer can become a professional driver, with a lot of effort and dedication. More concretely, I hope to get my first laps on track in a competition car in 2027, whether in races or tests. If I raise enough funding, I intend to compete in the Toyota GR Cup or TCR Spain, as a way into GT3, GT2 and even prototypes and endurance racing. 2027 matters so much because it would let me show that a sim racer (a teenager, in my case) can perform on a real track. My plan to race GTs and endurance comes from the same feeling: I deeply believe the driving is much purer in these categories than in formulas. They are also more accessible, and you spend more time actually driving.

Highlights

Around 20 "world records", meaning first places on global leaderboards. Three results I would pick out: • RaceRoom: global top 10 in an official time attack for 1990s touring cars, in an Opel Vectra, on the default setup. • WRC Generations: a win by about seven seconds on a Rally Japan stage in an official league, in a modern Rally1 Toyota Yaris, in the rain, without adjusting the car. • Karting Pola (rental karts; this one is not in a simulator): 7th overall in a classification with more than 4,000 registered times, a tenth of a second off the record, driving one 10-minute session every two months.

Current Challenge

Nothing about this project has been easy. I have had to fight for everything, and it has taken a lot of effort. The two hardest stages were probably starting out on social media and starting to compete seriously in the simulator. I worked hard on my content and took great care of my account. In competitive sim racing, when I saw that my level was not very high, I trained one to three hours a day until I reached a level that, even now, I find hard to reach. Now the challenge is to start driving real cars and to become a professional sim racer. I am not part of any team or competitive structure at the moment, although I am considering joining a team that competes at the highest level.
